Spring is in the air and one of the things we enjoy doing is hatching chicks from the eggs our chickens lay. The children love to watch the process, and we get to enjoy the cute balls for fluff for a while. before they grow up and join the egg laying team.
We had two dark colored ones hatch and they quickly became the favorites!
There is just something about the hatching of a chick that is awesome and facinating. When you watch the chick break it's shell and struggle to break free, it teaches me that not all struggle in life is bad. I need to trust the process and not panic, but push through the obsticals at hand.
