Chet loves animals!

This weekend, Sale on our Old-Fashioned Dill Pickles. Get $2 off per jar with code PICKLES2

Our Old-Fashioned Dill pickles have a lovely crunch to them. Some customers tell us their favorite part is the pickled Garlics and Onion that come in the jar as well. While others enjoy the pickle juice the most. What part of the flavor packed jar do you enjoy? The other day we went to Ernie's brother's house. My nephew brought the new baby from their long horn cow up into the yard for the children to meet. Chet loved the little calf; he got to hug the calf and pet the calf. It was such a cute little calf and so patient with the children. Chet loves any animal; he jumps at the chance to go with his big brothers when they go to pasture to take care of the cows and sheep. He also is a big help to me in taking care of the chickens and gathering eggs. He has little fear and is gentle. It's fun to watch the animals recognize that and stay calm around him. Even though we can't talk to or understand what the animals say, there is some level of communication going on there. Proverbs tells us that whoever is righteous regards the life of his animals. I enjoy teaching my children how to care for farm animals. Do you grow up with farm animals? To caring for the creatures God gave us... Trish and Crew
