On Labor Day, my siblings and I, along with my dad, got invited to play in a softball tournament. My brother got jerseys made and we had a grand time! My family has always been very active, and we especially enjoy playing softball.
Time moves on and we can't play like we used to; we are not as young and nimble as we once were. But we had a grand time! We did not win any of the games, but we thoroughly enjoyed the chance to play together as a family team and the chance to get out and play softball again.
My mom brought snacks and my children and nieces and nephews were cheering us on! It was such a good bonding experience as a family.
After playing all day in the heat, I sure was tired and sore, but very happy, and rejuvenated!
